This June 2019, Apex Martial Arts, formerly Stockton Kuk Sool Hapkido, celebrated our silver anniversary serving the Stockton community. We say this with utmost pride in our work and heavy efforts to improve our community through cultivating productive citizens for the last 25 years. We are honored to continue to being a strong and impactful leader in Stockton.
We celebrated with a special belt promotion for students who earned their new color belts. We had the honor of promoting 7 Black Belt honorees: Jasmine Asfour (2nd Degree), Angie Tan (1st Degree), Christian Xiong (1st Degree), Jullian Xiong (1st Degree), Rudelie Perez (1st Degree), Jose Perez (1st Degree), and Josue Ortiz (1st Degree). Instructor Victor Gellineau received a Commendation Award for his commitment to our organization. Students were also recognized for their years of service with Apex Martial Arts Academy. Additionally, our students put on an amazing performance for our family and friends!
Apex Martial Arts had the privilege of having Grandmaster Steve Seo, the International Director of the World KiDo Federation, as our keynote speaker who imparted history and knowledge of our martial arts and acknowledgement of the immense growth that our school has experienced throughout the last 25 years. Our school is proud to be a member in both renowned organizations: World KiDo Federation and Hanminjok Hapkido Association.
As we continue our work, we relish in the huge support our school has received from the community. It is because of your support that incredible things continue to happen. We have served for 25 years; we are aspiring for 25 more. THANK YOU for your part in our journey.
